New England Patriots Kicker

Subtraction to Addition?

According to the New England Patriots website, they released kicker Kai Forbath. And signed Albert Huggins from the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2019, the defensive linebacker was signed with the Houston Texans. He was released by the Texans on Aug. 31. Huggins was then signed by Philadelphia. He played in four games for the Eagles and then released on Nov. 30. The Patriots signed him on December 2nd.

So, Do We Have a Kicker or No?

It is rumored that they released Nick Folk, who had surgery done last week. That leaves New England with no kicker. Unless Stephen Gostkowski is ready to come back. So far there are no reports on what the Patriots are going to do. They could bring Nick Folk back or find kicker #5. Other reporters have said that Folk still had a locker in the locker room. But his name is not on the roster anymore. The punter, Jake Bailey and kicker (who is listed as IR still) Stephen Gostkowski are the only ones listed for that department. We’ll have to wait and see what Bill does in the upcoming days before the Kansas City Chiefs come to Foxborough on Sunday.

These Questions are Mind-Boggling!

And then what about this defensive lineman? Is another player on the defense really what the Patriots need? Lot’s of questions that we have no answer too. But of course, we will all have to wait until game time because if you’ve been a Patriots fan long enough you know that they like to make us sweat it out!
