Red Hot Dallas Mavericks

The red hot Dallas Mavericks headed south of the border to Mexico City to play the Detroit Pistons. In the last ten games the Dallas Mavericks are eight and two. Currently they hold the third spot in the West. After unexpectedly losing to the Kings on Sunday, the Mavericks really needed to get back to their winning ways. Here’s how they accomplished this goal.

Furthermore this Dallas offense shredded and lit up the Motown Defense. What I loved about the Dallas Mavericks offense is that they shared the Ball with one another, they had 25 assists. Also they won this game with defense, cleaning the glass, second chance points, and fast break points.

Kristaps Porzingis

Kristaps Porzingis got it done on both ends of the court last night. Porzingis scored 20 points on eight for eighteen shooting 44 percent from the field.

The big guy also grabbed eight boards and the Dallas Mavericks are very successful when Porzingis is active on the glass and making hustle plays. He also got it done on the Defensive end inviting the Pistons to a block party. He got three blocks tonight.

Hitting the Glass and second chance points

The Dallas Mavericks really tested the Detroit Pistons on the glass where Dallas won the rebounding battle 52 to 34. They were a plus 18 in that stat. The Mavericks cleaning the glass resulted in 18 second chance points.
