Recap: Eli Brooks drops 16 points in Michigan’s 86-44 win over Presbyterian
Last Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines (9-3) won their ninth game of the season against the Presbyterian Blue Hose (2-10) 86-44. Michigan defeated a weaker Presbyterian team that was seeking their third win of the season.
Michigan jumped out to an early lead in the first half and led by as many as 23 points. In addition to the Wolverines ending the first half leading by 23 points, they held the Blue Hose to 15 points. For the most part, this game was one-sided.
Not to mention the Wolverines captured this win due to their tenacious defense.
Furthermore, Owen McCormack led the Blue Hose in scoring off the bench with 10 points. Besides McCormack’s 10 points, Ben Drake chipped in 9 points but it was not enough to compete with Michigan. McCormack was the only Presbyterian to score in double-digits.
Ultimately, the Wolverines were too much for the Blue Hose in the long run as they won the game by 42 points (86-44).
Next up for Wolverines
Lastly, the Michigan Wolverines will be at home for their next game to take on UMass Lowell Hawks this Sunday, December 29th, at 2 p.m. ET. Watch the game on FS1.
