Jimmy Butler Kisses Indiana Goodbye

Butler blows a kiss to TJ Warren as he gets ejected for taunting

The Miami Heat had yet another impressive road win Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers. It was a team effort with seven players hitting the double-digit mark in points. Things got rather chippy in the second half, but Miami pulled away as they coasted to their 27th victory on the season. Jimmy Butler kisses Indiana goodbye until these two teams meet again in March.

Butler Altercation

The story of the game was the altercation between Jimmy Butler and Tj Warren in the third quarter. Butler beat Warren off the dribble, and Warren spun Butler around. Butler was not a fan of that and the situation escalated quickly leading to double technicals.

It didn’t end there between these two as Butler to called for the offensive foul on the next possession leading Warren to being ejected for taunting as Butler blew kisses as he departed.

Team Effort

This overshadowed most of the game as defensively Miami played outstanding. They limited their turnovers which had been a huge issue all year long and shot the ball well from beyond the arch. Bam Adebayo was once again incredibly impressive as we start to see him get more comfortable with his offensive game.

Justise Winslow finally returned to the lineup, he didn’t make a huge impact but its nice to see Justise slowly get back into the rotation after suffering multiple injuries to start the year. The bench production was off the charts as rookie Tyler Herro also played fantastic totaling 19 points. Herro looks very comfortable coming off the bench with Goran Dragic and this lineup has caused issues for many teams already. Derrick Jones Jr also continued to impact the game in many ways as he is becoming an essential piece in Miami’s rotation. Miami takes on a struggling Brooklyn team Friday night as they continue the road trip.

Postgame

Butler had some words to say about T.J. Warren again after the game in which he torched Warren for being “soft”. He also had some words which I can’t say here but the video down below has everything Jimmy said post-game.

Butler also took to Instagram to circle the next time these two clubs meet in March as Jimmy Butler kisses Indiana goodbye for now.
