Chelsea seemed pretty much in control of the first half, in contrast to the reverse fixture at the Emirates in December 2019. The likes of winger Callum Hudson-Odoi really shone during the first half and thrived from playing on the right hand side. However, the consistent dilemma for Chelsea this season has been their lack of potency in front of goal. As chance after chance came for blues , really putting the north Londoners on the back foot, they were soon to pay for their missed chances.
The second half slipped away from the blues as on the 63rd minute when Gabriel Martinelli set of a run from his own half and breezed past the French international as Kante who Slipped , leaving Martinelli through on goal to fire it pass Kepa Arrizabalaga.
So how would Chelsea respond ?
Captain , Cesar Azpilicueta stabbed home a cross by Hudson-Odoi to give the blues the lead in the 84th minute.
An Eruption in south-west London as Chelsea were in touching distance of a needed victory.
However, the gunners refused to bow down as full back Bellerin making his return back to the first team scored a goal beating Kepa on his right side , to make it level at the bridge in the 88th minute.
