NHL Trade Deadline: Live Coverage

NHL Trade Deadline day is upon us and General Managers across the league are scrambling to make deals.

Some teams are looking to acquire talent for a playoff push, while others are looking to sell off assets for a better tomorrow. Whatever the case may be, it is now or never.

General Managers have until 3pm today to make their moves.

Looks like Namestnikov is heading to the rockies for a 2021 4th rounder.

Jean Gabriel Pageau is on his way to Long Island. More details to come.

A 2020 first round pick in, a second rounder in 2020 and a 2022 third round pick is what Ottawa is getting for Pageau.

Conditions: 2020 1st is top 3 protected, moves to a 2021 first rounder. 2022 3rd only goes to Ottawa if the Islanders win the cup.

Carolina and Florida close on a deal.

Carolina and Florida have reached an agreement.

The Habs and Flyers have reached a deal for Nate Thompson.

Patrick Marleau heading to Pittsburgh. A 3rd round pick going back to San Jose.

Rocco Grimaldi is staying in Nashville. He just signed a two-year, $4 million extension.

Looks like Chris Kreider is staying put in New York.

Extension confirmed. The top trade target is now off the board.

The Toronto Maple Leafs get some defensive help. They acquire Calle Rosen, who they traded to Colorado in the summer.

Flyers add more depth at centre.

Columbus looking to add some more offense for a playoff run.

Simmonds to Buffalo for a 2021 fifth round pick.

Pageau may be more than just a rental in Long Island.

The Ducks and Bruins strike a second deal in under a week.

The Senators remain busy today by making a deal with the Canadiens.

Looks like Athanasiou is not heading to Columbus. The Red Wings send him to the Oilers, instead. Red Wings receive 2 second round picks in return.

Pageau Signing is confirmed. The Islanders have him locked up for 6 years.

Calgary adding some last minute depth on the blue line.

Penguins also add Conor Sheary in what has been a busy day for them. Buffalo gets Kahun in return.

With injuries to both Dougie Hamilton and Brett Pesce, the Hurricanes get their defense-man.
