With the 246th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins selected quarterback, Malcolm Perry. Malcolm Perry is predicted to play receiver and running back for the Miami Dolphins.
Malcolm Perry played quarterback in college, but he will most likely play wide receiver in the NFL. The wide receiver position on the Miami Dolphins is one of the deepest in-depth on the roster. Currently, the starting receivers on the Dolphins are DeVante Parker, Preston Williams, Albert Wilson, and Allen Hurns.
In his senior season, Perry rushed for 21 touchdowns, 2017 rushing yards, and 295 rushing attempts. He will most likely be a special teamer for the team, but also be a versatile player for the Dolphins. He could fit into a Taysom Hill type of role for the Miami Dolphins. Overall, this was a good pick for the Dolphins in the seventh round of the NFL Draft.
The Miami Dolphins traded No. 251 in exchange for the Seattle Seahawks 2021 6th Round Pick.
