The Miami Dolphins traded No. 153 overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for Matt Breida of the San Francisco 49ers.
Matt Breida will fill a major hole for the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins signed free agent, Jordan Howard who is projected to start this season. Breida will play back up running back for the Miami Dolphins and he will be a good third-down running back. Breida is also on the younger side for running backs at 25 years old.
Last season for the 49ers, Breida rushed for one touchdown, 623 rushing yards, and 123 carries. He was a good back for the 49ers last season and he split reps with many other running backs on the roster. Also, Breida received one touchdown, 120 receiving yards, and 19 receptions. Overall Breida will be a good back up running back for the Dolphins and will most likely be the main receiving back on the roster.
