When fans think of baseball Canada the first player that comes to the mind of most fans should be former slugger Larry Walker. Walker played 17 seasons with the Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, and most notably the Colorado Rockies. The Maple Ridge product was a five-time All-star, seven-time Gold Glove, and won the 1997 NL MVP. Walker is part of the 2020 Hall of Fame classing becoming the second Canadian enshrined into Cooperstown.

Canada still has many great players past, present, and future. Currently one of the most disciplined players in the show Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto. The six-time All-Star and 2010 NL MVP will one day find himself in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.

Another Canadian great is Eric Gagne. The former Cy Young winner and holder of the MLBs longest saves streak. Although he may never be a Hall of Famer his name is in the record books.

Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Soroka is a player many Canadians can cheer on for years to come. The 22-year old made his MLB debut in May of 2018 and made his for All-star the following year.
