BREAKING: Mets Have Positive COVID Test

In breaking news, this afternoon, one player and one coach in the New York Mets organization have tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Thursday night’s game in Miami has been postponed. No names have been released at this time.

Additionally, the positive tests jeopardize this weekend’s Subway Series match-up against the Yankees. MLB has already announced that Friday night’s game has been postponed.

Teams have missed anywhere between two games and two weeks due to positive COVID tests this season. It is unclear how long the Mets will miss, but one thing is clear – this will add to an already hectic season.

We will keep you updated as more information is released.
