Eryk Anders vs. Gerald Meerschaert set for UFC Tampa

The exciting former University of Alabama football player Eryk Anders is set to make a return at UFC Tampa, October 12. Anders was on a three fight skid when he took performance of the night at UFC on ESPN 3. Facing Vinicius Moreira he let fans know why they should watch with a 78 second stoppage.

Anders will be facing Gerald Meerschaert, who we last saw in action at UFC on ESPN 5. Coming off two losses himself Meerschaert made a statement with a submission victory over Trevor Giles.

UFC Tampa will be headlined by former strawweight champion Joana Jedrzejczyk and fan favorite Michelle Waterson.
Jedrzejczyk was last in action when she faced Valentina Schevchenko for the flyweight title. Waterson is coming in to the fight on a three fight winning streak and is looking to make a statement on her way to a title shot.
