Draftkings Bargain Bin for Week 2

When playing in daily fantasy sports large contest the key to winning money is finding low-cost players that are also low owned. Case in point Sammy Watkins was well under 10 percent owned in practically every contest last week. He only had the number one day for any fantasy player on the board for week 1. His cost on Draftkings was only 5,000 dollars which made it easier for players to add in top tier talent like Christian McCaffrey at 8,800.

Week 2 is fast approaching so let’s take a look at DFS bargains that will put you in the green.

Draftkings Showdown

Breshad Perriman 4,600

Ian Thomas 3,800

Week 2 kicks off with a contest between two teams coming off losses Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This feature two teams with average to below-average defenses so there is a possibility for a high scoring game. This next section is for people playing in only tonight contest.

Being the third receiver on the Buccaneers doesn’t sound appealing. With a high likely hood of the Bucs trailing Breshad Perriman could still be in for five-plus targets again this week. Last week he had 5 targets if Winston is more accurate tonight he could have a nice game. Only 4600 dollars in the Showdown tonight he will give you the ability to add higher-cost players.

Backup tight end position in fantasy is normally not one to get excited. With Greg Olsen showing up on the injury report with a back issue, there is a good chance Ian Thomas has an increased role tonight and is a bargain at 3,800.

Sunday and Monday Draftkings bargains

Derek Carr 5,100

Coming off a 259 yard 1 TD day vs a tough Denver defense Carr faces off against the KC Chiefs. This game will be high scoring where the Raiders will more than likely be trailing the entire game. Carr has a chance to put up big numbers. Even in a blow out Carr will have pass attempts in the high 30s to low 40s. Which should lead to big fantasy numbers.

Chris Thompson 3,900

Even before the injury to Derrius Guice I believed Thompson would get his touches regardless. Adrian Peterson will move into the starting lineup for Guice but Thompson still has a big role for Sunday. With Guice out and possible Jordan Reed Thompson will play some slot along with his backup running back role. With a whopping 10 targets, last game Thompson doesn’t need carries to make an impact. As what the case for Carr the Redskins will probably trailing in this game. With that Thompson will have plenty of targets as the Redskins will have to throw to keep up.

Danny Amendola 3,900

When joining the Lions it wasn’t a highly reported story. With Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones getting all the attention Amendola was an afterthought. Week 1 vs the Arizona Cardinals Amendola saw a whopping 13 targets and ended with 7 catches for 104 yards. Now, of course, that won’t happen every week but this is still a passing offense. Another game where one team is a big underdog which means more passing to keep up.

Conclusion
