Vegas Golden Knights Injury Report

The Vegas Golden Knights have a few injuries during the preseason and a few have occurred during these two games against the San Jose Sharks.

Nate Schmidt was injured in the second game against the Sharks. He injured his knee in the play. He was placed on Injured Reserve on October 4th, 2019. He had a knee on knee collision with Logan Couture which forced him to leave the game. The next day Coach Gerard Gallant stated he shouldn"t be out for more than 20 games.

Alex Tuch

Alex Tuch was injured on September 27th, during the 2nd period of a preseason game against the LA Kings. Tuch went crashing hard into the boards after drawing a hooking penalty. He did not return to the game. He was placed on IR on October 1st. The following day, the Golden Knights placed him on LTIR which makes him ineligible until October 22nd.

Cody Eakin

Cody Eakin also was injured on September 27th, but this time, he was injured during the 3rd period. He left and never came back. His injury is still unknown according to SinBin.vegas. He was placed on IR on October 2nd.

Zach Whitecloud

Zach Whitecloud was injured on September 25th. He left the game during the 2nd period. It was determined that he injured his hand/wrist. He was placed on the Golden Knights" IR and is expected to be sent down to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League once healthy.
