Where can N’Keal Harry Fit in New England?

The Patriots offense has been lacking an outstanding offensive weapon this whole season. Can N’Keal Harry be the piece of the puzzle that the New England Patriots are missing?

Back Story of N’Keal Harry

N’Keal Harry was drafted with the 32nd pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was projected to win Rookie of the Year by some people around the league. There was no reason he could not be great, he has the greatest coach and quarterback of all time. In the preseason, he suffered an ankle injury that put him on IR for a majority of the regular season. He has tremendous talent as a receiver and hopefully, he will recover from his injuries before next season.

N’Keal Harry’s competition at receiver

The receiver position in New England this year is alright at best since injuries and suspensions have kept this talented core far away from there potential. They had Antonio Brown to start the season until he got in trouble with some rape allegations. Brown got cut after these alligations went out to the public. The Patriots now only have five true receivers on the roster, not including Matthew Slater. Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon being locked on the starting roster because they are easily the two most dominant receivers on New England. They racked up a total of three touchdowns and 736 receiving yards this regular season so far. Phillip Dorsett and James White are having an outstanding season so far racking up a combined four touchdowns and 421 receiving yards so far this season.

Conclusion

If N’Keal Harry comes back for the 2019-20 season I could see him being a rotation player just as Jakobi Meyers is being this regular season. When he returns he will be focusing on recovery and learning the playbook.
