Jon Jones takes Plea Deal in Strip Club Battery Case

Jon Jones, never far from controversy, accepted a plea deal on Tuesday for an incident that occurred at a strip club in April.

In July news surfaced that UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, had been charged with battery.
A waitress at an Albuquerque, New Mexico strip club claimed Jones slapped her genital region, pulled her into his lap and kissed her. The waitress also claimed Jones put her in a choke hold and refused to let her go until he said it was okay.

Jones pleaded not guilty to the charges in July but this week has pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct in Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court.
Receiving a 90 day deferred sentence means Jones is on unsupervised probation and must consume no alcohol or drugs.
He must also pay court fees and not return to the strip club.

Jones was contacted for comment by ESPN but his team declined.
