I’ll be sharing who I think are the Chicago Blackhawks Top 20 Prospects who are 25 or younger.
Chicago Blackhawks Top 20 Prospects: #20
First up is #20 Reese Johnson
Reese Johnson is a 21-year-old from Saskatoon, Canada. He’s played in the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League (SMHL), Western Hockey League (WHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL).

Reese Johnson signed with the Chicago Blackhawks on March 6, 2019. He signed a 3-year contract that runs through the 2021-22 NHL season worth about $925,000.
Career
Before joining the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL, Johnson played two seasons for the Saskatoon Blazers of the SMHL (2013-15).
Johnson had missed most of the 2015-16 season, and all of the 2016-17 season with a very serious should injury. During the 2017-18 season, he put up a total of 39 points (23G,16A) which at that point was his “career-best.”
In 67 games played with the Red Deer Rebels of the WHL during the 2018-19 season, Johnson put up his career-best in terms of points, goals, and assists (27G, 26A) 53 points.
In five seasons with the Red Deer Rebels, Johnson has 50 goals and 92 points in only 182 regular-season games.
Resse Johnson is currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks AHL team, the Rockford Icehogs.

In two seasons (2018-19) (2019-20) with the Rockford IceHogs, Reese has four points in seven games played (0G,4A) in 7 games played.
If Reese Johnson can find a way to stay healthy, will he be up with the Blackhawks during the 2020-21 season? We’ll see
