The Wolverines start with the ball in Happy Valley. On the opening drive, they moved to midfield before being stopped shy of another first down and are forced to punt.
First Half:
Penn State will go on to score a touchdown after a missed push off by officials. 7-0 Nittany Lions.
Michigan on the ensuing drive marches downfield until they hit Penn State"s 40. After that, the Wolverines stalled and went for it on 4th down to stay aggressive. Once again, the officials miss a call and give Penn State a pass break up. Even the TV announcers said there should have been a flag. Combine this with the no-call on the push-off for their first TD, and Penn State is getting all the help they don"t even need.
Penn State will add another touchdown on the ground after a pair of legitimate Wolverine penalties. 14-0 home team.
After another controversial call on the Wolverines removing a first down. Shea Patterson and the Wolverines had to get aggressive, and that led to an interception thrown by Patterson.
The Nittany Lions will march down the field quickly and add another score, off of the turnover and take a commanding lead 21-0
Michigan goes downfield quickly. After a missed targeting call by the refs after Penn State hits Patterson in the head while sliding. However, after all of this, the Wolverines still score on a Zach Charbonnet rushing touchdown. 21-7 Penn State.
Michigan later attempted a long 58-yard field goal that had the accuracy however came up about 4 yards short. 21-7 Penn State at half time.

2nd half:
Penn State receives the ball to start the half soon after they stall out and have to punt.
Michigan later on in the third quarter will add another score off of running back Zach Charbonnet. 21-14 Penn State.
Penn State finally finds something against the Michigan defense in this half and hits a long touchdown play to make the hame 28-14.
Michigan once again come downfield in only a handful of plays for a touchdown by Shea Patterson. His quarterback sneak brings the score to 28-21.
With less than 2 minutes left to go in the game, on 4th down. Michigan WR Bell dropped a pass that hit him in both of his hands and his chest. Horrible drop for the young man that could have tied the game. Penn State will take over on downs.
The game ends with that score Penn State 28, Michigan 21.
Player of the game:
Zach Charbonnet, he had 85 total yards and two touchdowns for the Wolverines.
