Here you’ll find our favorite NFL DFS Week 8 plays according to pace of play per each position. These plays will show what players might have great games due to their high flying offenses. You can use these plays for Fanduel, DraftKings, Yahoo, and even Drafters.com.
Quarterbacks
As you can see in the chart above, the Rams have the fastest pace of play of any team in the NFL in 2019. Couple that with them facing the Bengals’ defense that are giving up 21.59 FPs to the QB position, and a 48.5 O/U, I absolutely love Goff to pair up with Kupp this week. In NFL DFS Week 8, Goff will surpass 2,000 yards and should be in store to help keep the Bengals out of the Win column in 2019.
Running Backs
I sit here writing this and thinking to myself, remember how we were screwed over by the Cardinals and David Johnson last week? Will we see DJ out there, or will Chase Edmonds be the bell-cow back in the nfl dfs week 8? He absolutely dominated last week and has a pretty decent match-up against the Saints who are giving up 15.14 FP to the RB position while the Cardinals are averaging almost 26 FP at the RB position. Do we trust the Dolphins’ RBs? I sure don’t. Christian McCaffrey is match-up proof and I don’t care if he’s facing the 49ers’ defense who is only giving up 10.73 FP to RBs, McCaffrey catches just as much as he runs and he could be in store for one hell of a week 8.
Wide Receivers
Now Cooper Kupp has had 2 straight dud weeks but this is the week, I feel it deep inside myself. Looking at this list, can we trust anyone on the Cardinals besides Fitzgerald? Do we even dare go Dolphins offense at all? I say no. Looky there folks, McCaffrey has the 2nd most receiving yards for the Panthers and he’s a running back. He is going to FEAST in NFL DFS week 8. Teams I’m a little scared about, Falcons’ WRs due to Ryan being hurt, and the mess we have in KC with all 4 WRs now that Mahomes is out for an extended period of time.
Tight Ends
The TE position is a different beast each and every week. The top Option per Pace Of Play is Gerald Everett who has been quite the disappointment overall this season. I wouldn’t mind throwing him in a GPP/Tournament lineup this week though. Travis Kelce? I believe they will have to dump the passes off a bit more this week with Mahomes being out and this will be Prime Time against the Packers Sunday Night. Tyler Eifert will never make it on one of my lineups again. I also have to give some shout out to Noah Fant (Iowa Hawkeyes represent).
