10/24-Ducks Lose More Than Just the Game to Dallas
Important Ducks’ Players Hurt!
After Several Attempts…
After several attempt at trying to get help, the Ducks finally landed a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Pittsburgh got LW Andreas Martinsen and a 2021 7th Rnd NHL Draft Pick for Defenseman- Erik Gudbranson.

Erik Gudbranson comes with a 4 million salary hit. He will become a unrestricted free agent come the 2020-2021 season. However, his size and physical nature (6’5, 217 Pounds) makes up for that number. He will create more chances for other players. Gudbranson is a fighter with an NHL record of 27 career fights. He is 27 (1/7/92), has played in 474 career games with Florida, Vancouver and Pittsburgh, earning 16-48=64 points. Gudbranson was selected by the Florida Panthers in the first round (third overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
We hope that Manson and Kase are not out long or the Ducks may have to start looking for help on the blue line. Their next game is tonight at 6 pm PT against the Colorado Avalanche.
