Champions Classic 2019- Recap

The 2019 Champions Classic has concluded with the top four teams in the country facing off against each other Tuesday night. The first game was highlighted by Duke and Kansas while the late game was the number one vs number two in the country, Michigan St vs Kentucky. It was the first game for many of the players in MSG, so things were a little rusty at times. But for all of the rusty plays, there were plenty of get out of your seats and get hyped plays as well. Let’s get straight into the action.

Duke- 68 Kansas- 66

Duke and Kansas led off the night in Madison Square Garden for the Champions Classic, and it was rough at times for both teams. The big highlights of the night was the Jay-hawks coughing up the ball 28 times. That is the most since 1988. We give credit where credit is due, and that Duke defense is legit. They won the game for the Blue Devils, but offensively they it looks like it will be on and off throughout the year. But that defense looks like it will be stellar.
