NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match

• 

Tonight"s episode will open with a championship match between Angel Garza and Lio Rush.

The match begins with a lot of back and forth action, but Angel gets out of the ring, hops over the guard rail and takes his pants off in front of Lio"s family! This angers Rush who goes after Garza.

He sends him back inside and lands a huge DDT for a two count.

Off the ropes, and Lio sends Garza to the outside, dropkicks him, and tries a topé, but it"s countered by Garza and he turns it into a power-slam!

Commercial Break

Back from break and Lio with a back elbow off the ropes to get a two count.

However, Angel counters with a huge chop, and a knee to the face!

Rush counters with a slap and a bicycle kick to the face and goes for a move off the ropes.

Garza comes in with a huge dropkick to the back of the neck! 1! 2! Nooo!

Angel is now on the top rope, he goes for a moonsault but misses, and Lio comes with a swinging neck-breaker!

1 2, kick-out!

NXT Chants!

The champion is now going to the top rope, but Garza takes him down, and Mamma Mia!!

Moonsault Powerslam!!! 1, 2, noooo!!!!

Garza has now snapped! and he is pounding and kicking Lio down.

Spanish Fly counter by Rush! He follows up with a spinning heel kick!

Off the ropes, stunner! Lio tries another one, but he gets caught, and the wing clipper!

1, 2, nooooo! How did Rush kick out?

More NXT Chants!

Wow, Garza is now going to the top rope, he is going to try the Wing Clipper, but a headbutt exchange!

Their momentum creates a Hurricarana! Lio is on the top!

The final hour! 1, 2, nooo! What a match!

The champion goes back to the top rope, and a second Final Hour! This match is over!

Angel Garza is livid, it looks like his foot was on the ropes, but the ref missed it.

What an incredible match, what a way to open this week"s show.

Garza is such an amazing athlete, he"s being compared to Eddie Guerrero! Wow!

Glad to see Rush back in the ring, instead of being a mouthpiece.

I really hope we get a re-match soon!

Breaking news

Tegan Nox and Rhea Ripley have been taken out! Who could have done this?

Is Raw or Smackdown here? NXT UK? Team Baszler?

Aliyah vs Xia Li

• 

The match starts with a Borne distraction that allows Aliyah to gain control, but Xia counters with a fury of strikes and kicks to knock her down, taking Borne out in the process.

However, Aliyah counters with a northern light suplex for a two count.

Aliyah starts to trash talk, which allows Xia to land several kicks, and a springboard ax handle.

A huge Roundhouse kick by Li and this match is over!

Post Match & Comments

Very quick match, and a very impressive win by Xia.

She is looking very dangerous in the ring.

Unfortunately, Borne and Aliyah seemed to have turned into jobbers.

Aliyah seemed to be hurt post-match, with a lot of blood coming out of her nose.

I would like to see a Xia Li vs Taynara Conti match, just to see some martial arts action.

Finn Balor is in NXT

• 

Balor addressed the crowd:

“This is NXT now? This is it? What happened to this place?"

“I used to be proud of this place, but now it"s a joke"

“A bunch of little boys have moved in after I built this place"

“Everyone crying on social media, and don"t get me started on Matt Riddle"

Here comes Riddle from behind!

Riddle and Balor are going at it!

Riddle grabs the mic: “Keep running, but I am right here!"

Shock the system

Undisputed Era has surrounded the ring.

“Wrong place, wrong time," said Adam Cole.

Before they can get in the ring, Tommaso Ciampa"s music hits, and he is here with Keith Lee.

“The question here is, right here, right now, are you going to stand up to me?" Keith Lee said.

Strong replies with “Who do you think you are? This is Adam Cole! But if you want to fight tonight, then fight me!"

Referees are now in the ring, and it looks like we are getting Strong vs Lee!

Roderick Strong vs Keith Lee, next on NXT

We are back from commercial break and the match has been made official.

Lee is standing on top of Strong and is now landing punches in the corner.

Keith with a huge chop and he follows up with a body slam for a one count.

Double hand chop by Lee! and Keith is fired up, and he is headed to the top, with Strong!

He is going for a superplex, but counter by Roderick, and we go to…

Commercial Break

Back from break, and both competitors are exchanging strikes!

Dropkick by Strong, as he sends Lee to the outside, and then dives onto him!

He is caught mid-air and military press slammed inside the ring, but Strong goes off the ropes, and connects with a huge dropkick! Strong starts to slap Keith Lee around and talks some trash.

This only angers Lee, who starts firing strikes, chops and slams Strong in the corner

Belly-to-Belly suplex and he gets a two count!

Keith is now going to the top rope and he is taking Strong with him, but a counter from Roderick. A monster superplex and both competitors are down!

Back on their feet, and we have a strike fest exchange! Back and forth, strikes, chops, knees, and they are down once again.

Undisputed Era is coming down to the ring

Here comes Ciampa and Riddle, there is chaos on the outside! Balor has arrived!

He just took out Riddle!

• 

With all the distraction going on the outside, Strong connects a huge knee to the face, and follows up with an Olympic slam! 1,2, nooo!

Off the ropes, the last shot, but Lee moves, picks him up and jackhammer!

This match is over!

Post Match and Comments

Undisputed Era enters the ring, and we have chaos once again. Now Ciampa is in.

The numbers game has given an advantage to the Undisputed Era!

Ciampa and Lee are getting destroyed, and what? It"s Dijakovic!

Dominik is striking all of the members of UE down! Double choke-slam on Fish and Kyle!

Feast your eyes on Cole!

Dijakovic is looking at Ciampa, telling him, he wants in, and they shake hands!

Now Lee and Dijakovic are facing each other! A handshake! Wow!

Comments

Strong and Lee put on a good match, the commercial breaks took away from it.

It was still good, with lots of good spots. With Lee winning, this could open the door for a title match at a Takeover, and that match could be incredible.

Dijakovic is an interesting choice, which can also lead to a new tag team of Lee and Dominik. I hope it doesn"t happen because I"d rather see Keith in the main event.

Backstage Breaking news!

Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir have been knocked out on the parking lot!

Candice LeRae has been taken out as well!

That eliminates Team Baszler from being responsible for the attacks.

Are Raw, Smackdown or NXT UK invading tonight?

Bronson Reed vs Swerve

• 

Bell rings and Reed knocks down Swerve with a shoulder takedown!

He follows up with several headbutts and locks in a headlock, but Scott tries to counter.

Instead, he gets sat on by Bronson! Reed picks him up in a suplex position and throws him to the outside!

Commercial break

Back from break, and Bronson tries to suplex Swerve, but he lands on his feet!

He follows up with several kicks and a top rope uppercut! Off the ropes, but a counter chop from Bronson, but Swerve counters himself with a flat-liner for a two count!

This makes Reed hulk up, and he connects with a huge clothesline and a senton.

He"s going to the top, but Swerve kicks him down and is climbing up himself!

Counter by Reed, and he has Isaiah set up on the tombstone position.

Swerve somehow gets out and counters into a Tornado DDT for a two count.

Elbow by Isaiah, but Reed counters with a spine buster and connects with a hangman driver!

1, 2, noo!

Reed tries to power-bomb Swerve, and we get some strike exchanges, counters, and reversals.

Scott hits the back kick to the head, and this match is over!

Swerve is looking more impressive as each episode passes, plus he is very exciting to watch,

Great moves and agility! What a fun wrestler!

Reed is very impressive as a big man and has a bright future ahead.

The match itself was filled with counters and reversals and made both competitors come out looking strong.

Good match!

Bruiserweight action on NXT

• 

No way! We are about to see a war! Pete Dunne is taking on Killian Dane… or not!

Damian Priest just came from behind and took out Dane. Now he is going at it with Dunne!

Dane is back up and we have chaos! Everyone is going at each other!

Security is now coming to stop this madness! They are now holding Dunne up!

Priest takes out Pete with a roundhouse kick, and is now attacking security!

• 

He picks up a guard, and Razor"s Edges to the outside, and everyone is down!

However, Dunne and Dane are back up, and now they are going at it!

Priest goes off the ropes and flies to the outside, and takes both of them out!

What an amazing segment!

That was awesome, they are building this feud up, I cannot wait for this match.

They should definitely make this a street fight, or no DQ match, this is just going to be great.

Backstage segment with Mia Yim, with Dakota Kai interrupting her interview and telling her she has to get back tonight!

Breaking News

Matt Riddle has been removed from Team Ciampa, and will now face Finn Balor at War games

However, Team Ciampa is now one member short; Dijakovic, Ciampa, and Lee, who could be joining them next?

NXT Main Event: Ladder Match

There are like 20-25 minutes left on the show, this is going to be a crazy match!

Io Shirai vs Mia Yim, War Games advantage, next!

The War Games advantage provides a team with an extra member after the first five minutes of the match.

• 

Bell rings, and both competitors are going at it, with Io dropkicking Mia to the outside, and connecting with a tope!

Io is now going for a ladder, but Mia counters and takes her out!

Mia is now going for the ladder, but Io kicks it, but Mia counters and slams Shirai on it!

Both competitors are now using the ladder to attack each other, but all the damage is being made on the outside!

Mia slams Io onto the steels steps, and now has the ladder, and

She suplexes Shirai onto the ladder!!

Commercial Break

Back from break and Io is firing strikes at Mia, and finishes up with an uppercut to knock her down! Off the ropes, and the 619!

Shirai then chargers at Mia, but she counters with an overhead suplex, and Io lands on the ladder!

• 

Mia now places the ladder in the middle of the ring and is climbing to get the briefcase.

Shirai slams her first onto the ladder, takes it down. She puts Mia in between, and starts slamming the ladder down on Yim"s back!

Io goes to the outside and grabs another ladder, but Mia pulls off a “Protect Ya Neck" counter.

She has the ladder, but Io goes off the ropes with a missile dropkick to take her down!

Medical personnel are checking in on Mia, and Shirai is taking advantage of this and is climbing the ladder.

Mia gets up, and slams her down and starts climbing herself.

German Suplex off the ladder by Shirai!! She has snapped! Bronco Buster in the corner!

She is now headed to the top rope, but Yim takes her down and attempts a suplex.

She gets knocked down to the outside, and here comes Dakota Kai to check on her.

Moonsault by Io to the outside!!

She takes both Dakota and Mia out! and is now back in the ring! Shirai is climbing the ladder.

• 

Kai takes her out with a powerbomb! That sends Mia back in the ring, who is now climbing the ladder.

Here is Kay Lee Ray!! The NXT UK Women"s champion knocks the ladder down. Mia falls to the outside onto a ladder!

Lee Ray picks up Io, sets her up on the ladder, and she wins this match!

Post Match & Comments

Team Baszler all come down to the ring to celebrate, and out of nowhere, it"s Bayley!

She takes out Shayna with a chair shot! and drops her face-first on the belt, as NXT goes off the air.

NXT UK once again making an impact, I am loving this!

I think this is a way to get Dakota back in the match, by taking the place of an injured Yim.

I would have loved Kai to turn heel, and for a minute I thought she was.

Personally, I am a huge Kay Lee Ray fan, so, seeing her show up, was very exciting for me.

I did not expect Bayley to come out and attack Shayna, but that was also great.

Overall, NXT once again delivered, both ladies raised the bar during the ladder match.

Yim took a super bump, hope she is okay.

The NXT Cruiserweight match was also incredible, and no doubt Angel Garza is going to be a star.

We have some NXT UK, and maybe someone from Raw or Smackdown might show up.
