Raw Review: 11/11/19

“So, how about I regain my legacy as Becky two Belts by beating the Kabuki Warriors"

Raw Tag Team Titles Match

• 

The Kabuki Warriors will defend their tag team titles against Becky and Charlotte, next.

Becky mocks Asuka to start the match, and this angers the Empress of tomorrow who tries

To lock the Asuka lock from the start, but instead kicks and strikes the Man down

Tag to Sane who slams Becky face first into Asuka"s rear and laughs away, but

This angers Becky and she locks in an armbar, and Kairi is able to get out, but

Gets a suplex from Lynch, who tags in Charlotte and starts chopping away, however

Kairi counters and tries to chop Flair multiple times, but they seem to not work on the queen, and

She counters with a chop that knocks Kairi down, and proceeds to lock in a leg head lock

Charlotte allows Sane to tag in Asuka, who comes in kicking and locks in a headlock

The Queen counters with an elbow, and

Shayna Baszler is here as we go to commercial break

Back from break and Asuka is firing away at Charlotte, but she counters and rolls her up

For a two count, Charlotte follows with a fallaway slam and continues to beat on Asuka

However, Asuka is able to fight back and tags in Kairi, they both land double kicks, and

Another dropkick from Sane, that can only get a near fall; She then tags Asuka back in, and

• 

Double Suplex! 1, noo, but

Asuka immediately locks in the octopus lock in the center of the ring!

The Raw crowd pumps up Charlotte, who takes out Kairi with an elbow and tries to strike Asuka, but

She counters with the Asuka Lock! but with pure strength, Charlotte connects with a power bomb to get out of the hold

1, 2, Kairi makes the save, and she grabs Asuka and brings her to their corner, and makes the tag

She starts firing away at Charlotte, but she counters and slams Sane in the turnbuckle and

Is able to tag in Becky! The man takes out Asuka with clotheslines, kicks, uppercuts and

Slams Asuka in the corner, Sane tries to interfere, but gets an exploder, and now Becky

Is heading to the top rope, double missile drop kick! She is fired up, but Shayna

Gets on the apron, and tries to interfere. However, Bayley takes out Shayna!

All of this distraction, allows Asuka to roll up Becky, and The Kabuki Warriors retain their Raw Tag team titles

Post Match & Comments

Bayley takes out Becky and slams her down on the barricade, as Shayna retreats through the crowd

Backstage segment with The O.C. challenging Ricochet and Carrillo to find a friend for a triple threat match

Randy Orton shows up, and agrees to add himself into the match

Comments

The Raw tag team match was ok, but I do enjoy the Kabuki Warriors getting a lot of tv time

Since Becky and Charlotte have been tagging a lot recently, I guess they don"t dislike each other anymore

Glad to see Bayley join in on the invasion angle

Even happier that the Kabuki Warriors retained

Drew McIntyre vs Sin Cara

• 

Drew starts the match by dominating on Sin Cara, brutalizing him with kicks, strikes and chops

However, Sin Cara is able to counter and take Drew to the outside and land a suicide dive and

A Moonsault from the top rope, but can only get a two count on Drew

McIntyre is angered up, and he starts hammering down on Sin Cara, and goes for

Another clothesline, but Sin Cara counters with several kicks and sends Drew to the outside with a

Head scissor! He then tries a move to the outside, but gets caught by Drew and power bombed into the floor

Claymore, and this one is over!

Post Match & Comments

Glad to see Sin Cara getting some TV time

This really didn"t feel like a super squash, as Sin Cara did land some good moves

I am a big Drew McIntyre fan, so I just hope he is able to be on Team Raw at Survivor Series

R-Truth on Raw

• 

It seems that this will be a handicap match for the 24/7 title

R-Truth with a serious look on his face, starts attacking the Singh brothers, but

The numbers gain on him, and the Bollywood stars start dominating the match.

However, the Singh brothers start to dance around, which allows R-Truth to counter

Before R-Truth can try and get a pin, the Singh Brothers start to run around the ring and head

To the back. They are able to lose Truth, but run into Rowan, who takes both of them out

• 

He even picks up a sofa and slams it down on both Singh Brothers

However, he only stares down at them, but does not go for the pin.

R-Truth walks in, and slowly walks away, but not before turning off the light to “give them privacy"

Seth Rollins comes down to the ring

• 

Rollins:

“HHH wanted to inspire me, he wanted to light a fire, and he did!"

“NXT is where I started, but this is my home! This is my show, This is Monday Night Rollins"

“At Survivor Series, me and my gang, are going to finish this!"

NXT Chants!

“But I want to talk to you about tonight, I think I am the best wrestler in the planet!"

" I want to face, the United Kingdom"s best! Time to step up!"

It"s Walter!! The NXT UK Champion!

Walter:

“You wanted the best, well, here we are!"

“I am the NXT UK Champion, and we are Imperium, and we are here to restore the honor of our sport"

“Just because you are not in the U.S. does not mean you are safe from the NXT Takeover"

Seth:

" I appreciate the fact that you think you are the NXT UK Best, so let"s find out, I accept your challenge"

Yes!! Walter vs Rollins, is next! Here on Raw!

Walter vs Seth Rollins

• 

Rollins tries to get in some offense, but Walter just tosses him aside

However, Rollins is able to counter with some kicks and a sling blade, that sends

Walter to the outside! Back in the ring, Rollins tries a move from the top rope, but

It is countered by Walter into a german suplex! He keeps attacking Rollins with an uppercut, slam and a headlock

Chop by Walter and he locks in a single leg boston crab in the center of the ring!

Counter by Rollins, but he gets another huge chop by Walter!

Another counter by Seth, follows with two super kicks and is now going for the curbstomp, but

• 

Imperium gets in the ring and this match is over

Post Match & Comments

The members of Imperium are kicking Seth Rollins, and here come the Street Profits!

However, the numbers are still an advantage for the U.K wrestlers and they are still in control

But here comes Kevin Owens!! Chaos in the ring! Everyone is going at it!

Team Raw ends up standing tall in the ring, as we go to commercial

Commercial Break

Back from Commercial, and this has been turned into a four on four match

Walter is taking out Rollins on the outside, and slams him down on the mat

He tags in Alexander Wolfe, who locks in a submission hold! Rollins tries to get out, but

Gets a german suplex from Wolfe, who tags in Bartel and he tags in Aichner as they connect with

A spine buster-knee combo for a two count, and Walter is back in

Walter with a dropkick, and a power bomb, 1,2, but Kevin Owens makes the save

Everyone is in the ring, but Walter takes them all out, and he is now in the top rope, but

Seth counters with a superplex! and finally tags in Kevin Owens! but Walter tags in Wolfe

Owens starts taking out every member of Imperium with super kicks, he climbs the top rope and

• 

Swanton! 1,2, noo, and there is now chaos in the ring!

Rollins and Ford fly to the outside onto Walter!! German suplex by Dawkins on Aichner

German uppercut by Barcel to take out Angelo, but a stunner from Owens to take him out

From behind, Rollins connects with the curbstomp on Alexander Wolfe to get the win

Kevin Owens is so over! Good to see him join this match

I am a big NXT UK fan, so it is amazing to see Imperium on Raw

Walter vs Rollins had the feeling of an incredible match, but I guess we will have to wait a bit longer for that

The four on four match was ok, a way to push Survivor Series I guess.

You would think NXT UK would get the win in England, but that did not happen.

The Street Profits are so fun! I just want to see them on TV all the time!

They kept saying Imperium represented NXT UK, so,

I guess it is still a possibility to have NXT vs Raw vs Smackdown vs NXT UK

Very excited about the Survivor Series storyline, so many great possible matches!

The show was lacking energy, but this match put it right back!

Raw is El Idolo

• 

Andrade will take on Cedric Alexander, in a match that on paper, has a lot of potential

El Idolo starts dominating the match, but Cedric quickly counters with a dropkick

However, Cedric misses a move off the ropes, and Andrade takes him out with a dropkick of his own

He connects with several strikes to the head, but Cedric counters once again, and

Sends Andrade to the outside! Suicide dive and a flatliner, that gets Alexander a two count!

Alexander goes for the lumbar check, but Andrade tries to counter and uses the ropes

He tries to land an elbow, but Alexander avoids it, and Andrade almost hits the ref.

This allows Zelina to distract Cedric, Andrade lands a kick and the Hammerlock DDT and

This match is over!

Post Match & Comments

This was a very fast match, with some good spots from both wrestlers

If they let these two wrestle, we could have a great match

Zelina once again, allows Andrade to win off a distraction

Oh no, Lashley and Lana are shown backstage, here we go

Soap opera time: Lana/Lashley/Rusev

Here comes Lana to the ring

“I am out here to confess my sins"

“My boyfriend, the love of my life, Lashley, did not want me to say the truth"

“The truth is, that I cheated on Rusev" (her Russian accent is completely gone)

“But he cheated on me first! Anyways, seven weeks ago, I had sex with Lashley"

“It was beautiful sex, wow, it blows my mind everyday"

Rusev: " I am here to understand what you are trying to do"

Lana starts to slap Rusev around and here comes Lashley, who takes him out

Lashley is firing away with strikes and connects with a reverse DDT type move.

Chokeslam! and this segment is finally over!

Lana yells that she can"t believe that Rusev thought she was pregnant and she

Starts to make out with Lashley

No additional comments are needed from my behalf

Erik Rowan match on Raw

• 

He is facing a jobber, who he is definitely going to destroy in less than a minute

Clothesline by Rowan, and he throws Sone Dursun over the ropes onto the outside

Cross-body and he sends him back inside, claw-chokeslam and this one is over

Rowan brought something to the ring with him, and it looks like we are about to find out

What it is! or maybe not!

We did not get to see what was inside, oh well

NXT UK is representing some more tonight, Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster are here

Yes!! Webster and Andrews are amazing

Fun Fact: Did you know, Andrew"s has his band, and the theme song is one of his own?

Raw vs NXT UK tag team match

• 

We get a reminder about the Survivor Series match, that the New Day has replaced The Revival

I am so bummed out about that, it is a ridiculously bad move

Anyway, back to our match

Bell rings and Flash Morgan takes out Erik with a dropkick and Ivar with a knee.

Morgan flies to the outside and is caught by Erik, but Andrews flies to the outside and takes him out

Ivar comes in, and he is also taken to the outside, and both Morgan and Andrews flip to the outside!

Stundog Millionaire, and a senton by Flash, 1, 2, nooo

This fires up Erik and he starts to take Morgan and Andrews out!

Splash, dropkick and a tag team combo and the Viking Raiders are in control

However, Andrews is able to connect with a pele kick, goes off the ropes, but gets the

Viking Experience, and this match is over!

Post-Match & Comments

What a fun match! It was very short, but enjoyable.

Flash & Andrews are really fun to watch, and I was impressed with how much offense they got in the match

They kept referring to them as NXT UK, so let"s keep hoping they get to join in on the fun

Can you imagine Gallus, Devin, Mastiff, Bate, Kay Lee Ray, Toni Storm, Seven, all joining in on the fun?

Yes please!

We get an announcement about a new match at Survivor Series:

Nakamura vs Strong vs Styles, wow! Show stealer right here!

That match is going to be for the ages, and they did mention that it can steal the show, good!

The women"s match is going to be five members each, interesting! and team Raw has been set:

Orton, Rollins, Owens, McIntyre and Ricochet

I would have gone with Andrade or Aleister Black over Orton instead.

Raw Main Event

• 

Anderson and Ricochet start the match, with the Raw Superhero gaining the advantage

Orton and Ricochet keep their friction going, which allows The O.C. to get control of the match

A.J. Styles and Carrillo are in the ring now, but Humberto with some high flying moves to

Take Styles out, and tags Ricochet back in, who “throws" A.J. at Orton, and knocks him off the apron.

Orton immediately gets in the ring and confronts Ricochet, as we go to commercial break

Commercial Break

Carrillo and A.J. are in the ring, and Humberto takes out A.J. with some high flying moves

He tries to replicate one of the moves but A.J. counters and tags in Gallows

• 

However, Carrillo is able to tag in Ricochet, and he takes Anderson out with a head scissor, and

Kicks Styles and Gallows out, but that distraction allows Karl to hit a spinebuster!

Gallows connects with a big suplex, goes off the ropes and lands a huge elbow drop, a

Powerslam and a massive leg drop! but Ricochet counters with an enziguri

A.J. is now in and blocks Ricochet from tagging Carrillo, but he lands a back kick and

The tag is made. Humberto with a huge kick to the face off the second rope and a backflip

Standing moonsault for a two count! He drags Styles to the corner, goes to the top and

Misses the Moonsault! but Orton tags in, and powerslams Styles! He sets him on the second rope and

Vintage DDT! and the Viper is now calling for the RKO! However Anderson comes in

and we have chaos! Gallows and Anderson are knocked to the outside and

Carrillo goes to the top rope and moonsaults onto both of them! Back in the ring

Orton is looking at Styles, and hits the RKO, and tags in Carrillo, who goes off the top rope with a

Moonsault! And this match is over!

Post Match & Comments

Ricochet and Carrillo celebrate post-match and Randy looks to be leaving the ring

But fakes an RKO on Ricochet, tells him he can do what he wants,

When he wants, and he walks away.

Comments

The match was ok, most of the focus was kept on the friction between Ricochet and Orton

I love seeing Carrillo get opportunities to shine, he has a bright future

It"s unfortunate to see the O.C. get another loss

Overall, Raw was a decent, closer to good, type of show ( I am ignoring the Lashley/Lana segment)

I"ve said it throughout the review, but I enjoy seeing NXT UK participating in the invasion

I hope Raw invades NXT on Wednesday, maybe give Kevin Owens a match!

How about K.O. against Pete Dunne? Wouldn"t that be something?
