The Angels pitching staff struggled last year, and Dylan Bundy has shown flashes of being a great pitcher throughout his career. Bundy has always been snake-bitten by the home run ball as he’s allowed a whopping 96 home runs since the start of 2017, including a league-leading 41 home runs in 2018.

As for the Orioles, they acquired four minor league prospects; not the worst investment for a rebuilding team. Of those prospects, easily the most attractive is reliever Isaac Mattson who had a solid 2019 campaign and made it to Triple-A.
The Angels have also been linked to Gerrit Cole, so this move may have the start of bigger moves to come.
