Welcome to the Fear the Deer Digest! I cover all that happened with the Milwaukee Bucks this past week, and this past week was a successful one. The Bucks won every game they should have won, which meant they went 4-0. A cake schedule against the Cavaliers, Hornets, Knicks, and Pistons made for a fun week in Bucks Basketball as the boys in the green, cream, and blue continue mowing down their competition on their way to a 13 game winning streak.
The Games
Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers (11/29)

A combined 41 points from the young Cavalier backcourt of Darius Garland and Collin Sexton wasn’t enough to slow down the Greek Freak’s 33 points and 12 boards. George Hill also pitched in 18 off the bench in what was Milwaukee’s 10th straight win at the time.

The Bucks found one thing good in Cleveland on Black Friday, an easy W against one of the Eastern Conference’s worst teams.
Charlotte Hornets @ Milwaukee Bucks (11/30)

Yes you read that right. The Bucks won by 41 points. 9 Bucks players had over 10 points in what was a resounding win against the Hornets. Devonte’ Graham tried his best to lead the charge for Charlotte with 24 points, but Buzz City got Creamed as the Bucks won their 11th in a row.

New York Knicks @ Milwaukee Bucks (12/2)

Yes, you also read that right. The Bucks did in fact beat up on the New York Knicks. Milwaukee had two wins by at least 40 points this week. In this one Giannis dominated the boards, and lead the team in scoring once again. The Bucks were able to get some of their young guns in as D.J. Wilson was able to get minutes and play some pretty good ball, scoring 19 points in 24 minutes. Victories are nice, but winning by 44? The Bucks ran it up en route to their 12th straight W.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Detroit Pistons (12/4)

Another day passed and another game the Bucks bury their competition. That was 3 out of their 4 games this week in which they won by at least 20 points. In Detroit things got a little feisty after Blake Griffin stepped over Giannis. But that was the only sense of fight for the Pistons as the Bucks ran away with this one. On top of that the Freak shot 4-8 from 3 point range. If he continues to improve and develop that shot, cancel the league, it’s the Bucks championship to lose. Middleton also added in 17 points to beat a division rival for the Bucks 13th win in a row.

Safe to say the Bucks, like this deer, evaded a loss to the Pistons in Motor City.

Looking Ahead
Los Angeles Clippers @ Milwaukee Bucks (12/6)
Friday night we get a great matchup that hopefully isn’t ruined by load management. Two of the NBA’s elite face off in the Fiserv Forum. Will the Bucks sweep the season series? Or will the Clippers put an end to the Bucks impressive winning streak? We’ll find out Friday night!
Orlando Magic @ Milwaukee Bucks (12/9)
On Monday, Milwaukee gets its first look against the Orlando Magic. Orlando currently sitting at 10-11 is coming off a hot stretch where they have won 4 out of their last 5 games. The Bucks will also get to matchup against the much improved Markelle Fultz. Should be a fun one on Monday!
New Orleans Pelicans @ Milwaukee Bucks (12/11)
Next Wednesday, the Bucks match up with the new look Pelicans for the first time this season. Maybe Zion will play? Who knows. Anyways, it should be a Bucks W as the Pelicans haven’t quite hit their ceiling yet. Still fun seeing Lonzo and Ingram play, but the Bucks should have zero problem in this one.
A Final Word
Until the Bucks’ winning streak ends, I am convinced they are the best team in the NBA. The Lakers are a close second. But the Bucks have beaten the likes of the Pacers, Jazz, Rockets, and Raptors. On top of that they handle business against the bad teams, as expected an elite team should. This upcoming matchup against the Clippers will be a good gauge to see where they are at.
One last thing NBA fans. Be sure to check your closets and under your bed tonight, because the deer are coming, and you best be afraid. #FEARTHEDEER
