Can the Baltimore Ravens Make it Nine in A Row?

The Baltimore Ravens are on an incredible eight-game winning streak but will find it tough to make it nine in a row. They travel to the 9-3 Buffalo Bills, which is always a tough place to travel to in December.

These two teams are the surprise packages from the AFC, with Baltimore the number one seed right now, with the Bills challenging New England for the top spot in the AFC East. Both are led by dynamic second-year quarterbacks, along with top ten defenses. So what will be the difference between these two teams?

Lamar Jackson Key Once Again

This is an obvious title, as quarterback Lamar Jackson has been pivotal to this second-ranked Ravens offense. The second-year signal-caller is leading the Pro Bowl votes and is favorite for league MVP. All of this is because of highlights like this.

The 49ers held the Ravens last week to under 300 total yards on offense, and this Bills defense is similarly talented. They ranked third in the NFL and will look for a statement performance at home.

Where the Ravens are better than the Bills is on offense, however, in tough weather and on the road it will be tough. This will be another massive game for both teams.

Baltimore Ravens’ Defense Needs to Contain Allen

Buffalo is also led by a dual-threat second-year quarterback, Josh Allen. He is a physical specimen at 6′ 5″ along with dynamic running ability. He’s led this Bills team to 9-3 record and everyone is gunning for the Ravens now they’re the first seed.

The Baltimore defense has taken great strides in the past six weeks and is now a top ten unit. The Bills offense is only ranked 17th in the league, but they are an extremely well-coached team. Their defense massively helps, however with the Ravens offense the Bills will need to score points to remain in contention.
