New England Teams – What the HECK is Going On?

For the Patriots the last three games are important because the playoffs are right around the corner. Their next three games are against the Cinncinati Bengals, the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins. The last two being divisional games. The scary part is that this year the Bills are 9-4 and could actually cause problems.

The Bruins are currently top in their division in the Atlantic, but there is still a lot of hockey left to be played. The play the Tampa Bay Lightings tomorrow night. If you follow the Bruins you know that Tampa Bay is always in our way at the end to the cup. Then they travel to Florida to play the Panthers another divisional rival. And currently, the Panthers are in third place in the Atlantic.

Here’s what I think the HECK is going on…

For the Patriots, I feel that Tom Brady needs better protected. And the defense needs to be better against the run. Especially when it comes to running quarterbacks that the NFL has many of. So far it seems to be all defense that is carrying the team and the offense is buckling in the red zone.

With the Bruins, I think that maybe they might be relying on the Bergeron line because for a while they were on fire. Especially David Pastrnak, who did score the first goal tonight. Not saying that the Krejci line, the third line or the fourth line doesn’t try, but it is noteworthy that when it comes to the power play or an uneven situation, the same players are on the ice. Just an observation and also my opinion.
