The New England Patriots have a few unrestricted free agents going into the 2020 free agency this season and here is the breakdown of each of those players.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady is one of the most notable Patriots free agents this season. Brady has been with New England his whole career. He had sort of a down year throwing 4057 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Overall Brady played at a level the fans have not seen in a while.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – Yes
Devin McCourty
Devin McCourty helped the Patriots secondary become as dominant as it was this season. He played every game this past season and was a major contributor on defense. McCourty had five interceptions, seven passes defended, and 46 tackles.

Kyle Van Noy
Kyle Van Noy was the leading pass rusher on the Patriots this past season. He is in the prime of his career at 28 years old and has proven himself these past two years. This past season Van Noy had 6.5 sacks, 41 tackles, and 14 quarterback hits.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – Yes
Matthew Slater
Matthew Slater was a Pro Bowler this past season on special teams. Slater would always be the first person to the football on a punt and even saved a few punts this season. He is age 34 this year and he doesn’t look like he wants to stop playing football this season.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – Yes

Phillip Dorsett
Phillip Dorsett is 27 years old this season, which is the prime of his career. This past season Dorsett received for 397 yards, 29 receptions, and five touchdowns. He only started four games this season and is going to want a good chunk of money this offseason.

Nate Ebner
Nate Ebner has been with the Patriots since he was drafted in 2012. He is one of the most important players on the special teams unit this past season. Ebner is 30 years old and he knows the playbook like the back of his hand.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – Yes

Jamie Collins Sr.
Jamie Collins was part of the three-headed dragon of linebackers this year for the Patriots. Collins racked up three interceptions, seven sacks, and 57 tackles. He is 30 years old, but he may want a lot of money because he had a good season this year.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – Maybe, matters on the amount of money he wants
Danny Shelton
Danny Shelton is coming off of an outstanding season as the defensive tackle for the Patriots. He racked up 30 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks. He is only 26 and has a couple more years until he hits the prime of his career.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – Yes

Nick Folk
Nick Folk did a decent job stepping in for the injured Stephen Gostkowski. He kicked 14 for 17 this season and proved he still belongs in the NFL. He is going onto age 35, but I do not believe he will be going back to the Patriots.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – No
Marshall Newhouse
Marshall Newhouse stepped in for some injured players this season but did not do the best. Newhouse did not block well but was decent for a backup. Some of the offensive linemen need a new makeover and that includes Newhouse.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – No
Joe Thuney
Joe Thuney has been a starter with the Patriots since 2016. Thuney has never missed a game for the Patriots and has been a great blocker. He knows the playbook and is only 27 years old.

Shilique Calhoun
Shilique Calhoun was a back up almost the whole season and was not a major part of the defense. He racked up six tackles, zero sacks, and three quarterback hits.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – No
James Ferentz
James Ferentz played 15 games this season, but only started two. He is a good back up and knows the system since it is his second season in New England. Ferentz is 30 years and has a good amount of experience in the NFL.
Do I think the Patriots will resign him? – No
Ted Karras
Ted Karras has been with the New England Patriots since his rookie season 2016. He has been the back up offensive linemen for the Patriots for four seasons. Karras is only 26 years old and has lots of time to develop.
