Bryce Hall is a great football player. He is fast and has many other talents on the field. He is a great defender and will be a stud on any NFL team that drafts him. Hall is a fun prospect to watch.
Bryce Hall Stats
Hall is a 6”1 200 lb strong cornerback. In 2019, he had 20 total tackles, 7 solo tackles, and 1 sack. These numbers show that he is a factor on the field and he can make big-time plays. Hall plays a very fast game and never lets up.
Bryce Hall Strengths
This athlete has many strong areas in his game. First off his footwork is off the charts. His first steps stand out to me when the ball is snapped. He always puts himself in a good position to make a play on the pigskin. That comes from great footwork. Also, Hall’s IQ on the field is one of a kind. Virginia plays a lot of different coverages and this cornerback can play any of them with tons of skill. He uses his great vision to scan the field and make an impact in the secondary. Finally, what I like the most about Hall is his physicality. Every NFL team loves their corners to be physical. When I saw Bryce play this last year I realized how hard he hits. He brings in contact with so much power. He has great form on his tackles and that will certainly impress scouts and coaches. This guy will be really good.
Bryce Hall Weaknesses
Hall has just a few weaknesses that I’ve seen. To start, he struggles with man coverage sometimes. He can get beat right off the line of scrimmage from time to time. I’ve seen receivers get behind him a few times last season which set up for a long ball catch. Also what I’ve seen is when he’s in zone coverage he can sometimes get a late jump on receivers routs which gives them more room to run after the catch. I’ve seen that happen on some in routs, slants, and some posts. Finally what Hall will need to improve is his handwork at the line of scrimmage when he’s playing press coverage. receivers will take advantage of that weakness at the next level. Other than those few holes I think Bryce Hall will be a playmaker in the NFL.
Hall’s Projection
Bryce hall has tons of talent. He will be playing at the next level next year without a question. He will most likely go early in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. With his size, speed, and abilities he will make himself a great defender for an NFL coach.
