Linebacker Vince Biegel Signs His Restricted Free Agent Tender

Last season Vince Biegel had his first real start for the Miami Dolphins. He started ten games on the season and played in fifteen. Biegel had one interception, 2.5 sacks, and 59 tackles. He will be a good rotation linebacker for the Miami Dolphins and be able to rotate with Jerome Baker, Raekwon McMillan, and Kyle Van Noy. He is only 26 years old, so he has a lot of time to improve and help the Miami defense grow. He also has seven tackles for loss and thirteen quarterback hits. He played in 56% of the total defensive plays last season and only missed around 9% of his tackles. 

Conclusion

Biegel will help the defense grow and become better each season. He will be a good rotational linebacker next season and if injuries happen he will be a trustworthy linebacker to step up. They also got him on a cheap deal, so it is worth it for the amount of money they had to pay for him. Overall he will be another great player on this Miami Dolphins young unit of a defense.
