The Miami Dolphins waive running back De’Lance Turner from the roster, which leaves one less running back position on the team. Turner has been a back up running back for both the Ravens and the Dolphins in his two years in the NFL.
Miami Dolphins Waive De’Lance Turner
The Dolphins signed De’Lance Turner on November 5, 2019, from the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Turner was an undrafted free agent out of the Alcorn State, which he signed with the Ravens. He has played in 12 games in his two years in the NFL but has not done anything significant.
For the Ravens, Turner has only rushed for one carry and four rushing yards. For the Dolphins, Turner has rushed for four rushes and six yards. Since Turner was cut from the Dolphins, this leaves Jordan Howard, Matt Breida, Kalen Ballage, Patrick Laird, and Malcolm Perry left. Overall, this was not a massive loss for the Dolphins, and this will not affect the team at all.
