Will Tua Tagovailoa Start In Week One?

Will Tua Tagovailoa start week one? That is the question many Miami Dolphins fans are asking. In the 2020 NFL Draft, Miami drafted Tua Tagovailoa with the fifth overall pick hoping he will be the next face of the franchise.

Former NFL Quarterback Believes In Tua

Unfortunately, when Tua went down with a brutal ankle injury, many believed that he should sit a season before becoming a starting quarterback. As for one former NFL quarterback, he believes that Tua should start in week one.

Michael Vick, who played with the Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Philadelphia Eagles believes that he could start in week one. He says “The longest he gonna sit, maybe a couple of practices when they resume training camp. He might be number 2 on the depth chart for the first week of training camp and then from there he should be number one and take all the reps. Or if it does go well it won’t belong. I expect Tua to be the starter in week one. I’m excited to watch this guy. Just watching him throw the football reminds me of Steve Young.”
