The Miami Dolphins have been a decent NFL team for signing and drafting wide receivers with tremendous talent. The Dolphins have had successful rookies, veterans, and out of nowhere star players. Here are the top five wide receivers for the Miami Dolphins 2010 decade.

Number 5: DeVante Parker (2015 – 2019)
The Miami Dolphins needed a new, young wide receiver, so they drafted, Louisville wide receiver, DeVante Parker with the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. The beginning of Parker’s career for the Dolphins was a complete bust, but he had slowly been made into an amazing wide receiver. In his first four seasons for the Dolphins, Parker has been a mediocre wide receiver. Entering his prime in 2019, at 26 years old, Parker showed the world his tremendous talent as he received 72 receptions, nine touchdowns, for, a career-high, 1,202 receiving yards. In his whole career with the Dolphins, Parker has received 235 receptions, 18 touchdowns, for 3,419 receiving yards. Overall, if Parker had one or two more seasons with this success, he could be top three on the list, but currently, after only one successful season, he sits at the number five position.

Number 4: Mike Wallace (2013 – 2014)
The Miami Dolphins signed Mike Wallace to a five-year deal worth $60 million, which was a major deal for the Dolphins. Wallace only played two seasons with the team, which he was then traded to the Vikings in exchange for a fifth-round pick. Going into the prime of his career, Wallace never reached 1,000 receiving yards for the Dolphins but was close each season. Wallace never missed a game for the Miami Dolphins in the 32 games he was part of the team. In his two years with the team, Wallace received 140 receptions, 15 touchdowns for 1,792 receiving yards. Wallace had a career-high in touchdowns with the Dolphins in 2014 with ten touchdowns. Overall, Wallace underperformed for the amount of money he was given but still put together two good seasons for the Miami Dolphins.

Number 3: Brian Hartline (2010 – 2014)
The Miami Dolphins drafted Brian Hartline with the 108th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Hartline was one of the major steals of the 2009 NFL Draft after he recorded two 1,000 yard seasons for the Dolphins. In Hartline’s first two seasons with the Dolphins in the 2010 decade, he had about 500 receiving yards each season. From 2012 to 2013 everything changed as Hartline had two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons for the Dolphins. In his career in the 2010 decade, Hartline received 344 receptions, 12 touchdowns, for 4,243 receiving yards. Hartline had the height and weight to be a successful wide receiver in the NFL at 6-2 and 180 pounds. Overall, Hartline will go down as one of the most underrated wide receivers the Dolphins have ever drafted in Dolphin’s history.

Number 2: Brandon Marshall (2010 – 2011)
The Miami Dolphins signed Brandon Marshall to a four-year deal worth $47.5 million, which includes a $24 million extension in guaranteed money. After only two seasons, Marshall was traded to the Chicago Bears in exchange for two third-round picks. In Marshall’s two seasons with the organization, he had two 1,000 yard seasons and one pro bowl. Also, in Marshalls two seasons with the Dolphins he received, 167 receptions, nine touchdowns, for 2,228 receiving yards. While Marshalls was with the Dolphins, he was in the prime of his career, at 27 years old. Marshall was a true number one receiver since he was 6-5 and 232 pounds. Overall, Marshall is only one out of two wide receivers to make a pro bowl for the Dolphins this decade, so he has earned his spot on the top five.

Number 1: Jarvis Landry (2014 – 2017)
The Miami Dolphins wanted to bolster the receiving core in 2014, so they drafted Jarvis Landry in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Landry was a complete steal since he was the 12th wide receiver taken off the board. Also, Landry has the most pro bowls out of any wide receiver in the 2010’s decade, with three pro-bowls. In 2017, Landry broke out as an NFL star wide receiver when he received 112 receptions, nine touchdowns, for 987 receiving yards, and a pro bowl selection. This was his last season with Miami, but overall, it was his greatest season with the team. In his whole career as a Miami Dolphin, Landry received, 400 receptions, 22 touchdowns, for 4,038 receiving yards, over four seasons. Overall, Landry was the most successful wide receiver the Dolphins drafted in the 2010’s decade and he was drafted in the second round.
