UFC Vegas 3: Blaydes vs. Volkov Weigh-In Results

For the third time in as many weeks, a live event will emanate from the UFC Apex. The official weigh-ins for Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 3 card are in the books. Both main event combatants have made weight and all that’s left are the fights themselves.

Of particular note, it was announced live during the weigh-ins that the Jim Miller/Roosevelt Roberts will be at a catch weight of 160 pounds.

The lone fighter to miss weight is Frank Camacho, who exceeded the mark by two pounds. Also, lightweight Justin Jaynes hit the scale as a replacement for Matt Frevola. Frevola was forced out of action as a result of one of his corner men testing positive for COVID-19. Also, an odd occurrence took place where Courtney Casey appeared uncomfortable on the scale, which resulted in her limping away from it after her weight was logged.

Thankfully, UFC Vegas 3 avoided the bizarro world that was the UFC Fight Night: Eye/Cavillo weigh-ins last week.

Full weigh-in results are as follows:

MAIN CARD

  • Curtis Blaydes (261) vs. Alexander Volkov (247)
  • Josh Emmett (146) vs. Shane Burgos (146)
  • Raquel Pennington (136) vs. Marion Reneau (136)
  • Belal Muhammad (170.5) vs. Lyman Good (170.5)
  • Jim Miller (159.5) vs. Roosevelt Roberts (160)

PRELIMS

  • Clay Guida (154.5) vs. Bobby Green (155.5)
  • Tecia Torres (116) vs. Briana Van Buren (115)
  • Marc-Andre Barriault (185.5) vs Oskar Piechota (185.5)
  • Courtney Casey (123) vs. Gillian Robertson (125.5)
  • Justin Jaynes (156) vs. Frank Camacho (158)
  • Roxanne Modafferi (125.5) vs. Lauren Murphy (125.5)
  • Austin Hubbard (156) vs. Max Rohskopf (155)

After hitting the scale, fighters followed up with immediate staredowns since COVID-19 has put a hold on ceremonial aspect of this ritual. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it’s go time.
