Cleveland Browns Cut Down to 53

The Cleveland Browns need to have the roster down to 53 by 4 pm eastern time today. Here is the list of cuts today. The front office has not made any moves to add to the roster according to clevelandbrowns.com.

Some of the more surprising names cut by the new front office include Chad Thomas, who was on the bubble but still surprising. Some more surprises on the list are Dontrell Hilliard, undrafted rookie A.J. Green, the man they gave a franchise record bonus to get, Willie Harvey, Taywan Taylor, Garrett Gilbert, and camp sensation at corner Donovan Olumba.

Some of the younger players like Green, Alex Taylor, Elijah Benton, Kevin Davidson could end up on the practice squad if they get through waivers. Most of this group will hope to latch on with another team before week 1.
