The main card kicked off with the debuting Ilia Topuria facing off against Youssef Zalal. This fight showed off the grappling skills of both featherweights. Although the bout started on the feet, Topuria to his Greco-Roman wrestling by taking down Zalal. Tom Aspinall drops ground and pound bombs on Alan Baudot

Tom Aspinall only needed a lighting quick 45 seconds to win as he dominated Alan Baudot from start to finish. Aspinall was the aggressor of the fight as he showed his punching power and as a takedown followed shortly after to end the fight on the ground. What’s next?

Dricus Du Plessis victorous against Markus Perez

Although Du Plessis looked nervous in his debut it did not matter as Du Plessis was able to overcome them and be comfortable before catching Perez with a strange uppercut behind Perez’s ear as he was sucuttling back before following up with heavy ground and pound bombs. What’s next?

Marcin Tybura out strikes veteran Ben Rothwell

This fight was a heavyweight slug fest (And I loved every second of it) Although Marcin Tybura got the decision win, Ben Rothwell didn’t want the judges to get involved as he pushed the pace in the first. However due to his defense and his striking Tybura was able to survive with the judges scoring the bout the fight 29-27 x 3 with Tybura getting the win via unanimous decision. What’s next?

Edson Barboza dominates Makwan Amirkhani

Edson Barbosa is finally back in the winners column after a dominant performance against Makwan Amirkhani. Using his extended arsenal of striking Barbosa looked like a new man as he looked to avenge his loss during his featherweight debut. Looking like a new man, Barboza gave Amirkhani a hard fight as Barbosa peppered him with his full arsenal of his strikes and even got a few knockdowns against Mr. Finland before winning via unanimous decision with the judges scoring the bout 30-26, 30-27, and 29-28. Cory Sandhagen puts away Marlon Moraes with spinning wheel kick

Both Cory Sandhagen and Marlon Moraes looked to be the aggressor however it was Sandhagen that looked better throughout the round. But then the unthinkable happened. Cory Sandhagen pulled a ‘Magic Moraes’ On Marlon Moraes as Sandhagen threw a stunning spinning heel kick that staggered Moraes and sent him to the canvas. Sandhagen quickly followed with a few more punches to end the fight with the referee stopping the fight shortly after.
