In an unexpected turn of events, it was announced: Chris Paul out indefinitely due to NBA Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols.
Chris Paul Out Indefinitely Due to NBA Health and Safety Protocols
Paul led the Suns to the Western Conference finals after they swept the Denver Nuggets. Despite some good performances from the league’s MVP, Nikola Jokic, the Suns were able to dominate the series.
They are now waiting for either the Utah Jazz or Los Angeles Clippers to join them in the finals. Their series is currently tied at 2-2.
Chris Paul is currently having a great playoff run despite starting the playoffs with a worrying shoulder injury against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Against the Nuggets he averaged 25.5 points, 10.3 assists, and only had 5 turnovers the whole series (four games). In addition to this, he shot 63% from the field.
The time frame in which Paul will have to isolate is unknown. He is vaccinated so “depending on medical circumstance,” his isolation period could be shorter than usual.
Paul’s status for the start of the Western Conference finals is currently up in the air, sources say.
Noteworthy: Depending on the medical circumstance, an isolation period could be shorter for a vaccinated individual. https://t.co/62r5bWzLOh
