Cristiano Ronaldo says he has been the subject of disrespectful transfer rumours linking him away from Juventus as he issued a strong statement to clarify his position.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had to publicly deny that his side were interested in re-signing Ronaldo on Tuesday saying that he is looking forward, and the Portuguese forward later took to Instagram to set out his stance.

Real Madrid are not the only club to be linked with the Juve talisman, though, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, and Manchester United all rumoured to be interested in securing his signature over the past few weeks.

In a rather long Instagram post, Ronaldo revealed his thoughts:

“Anyone who knows me is aware of how focused I am on my work. Less talk and more action, this has been my guiding motto since the start of my career.”

As seen above, rumors grow increasingly consistent linking him to other clubs.

“However, in view of everything that’s been said and written recently, I have to set out my position.”

“More than the disrespect for me as a man and as a player, the frivolous way that my future is covered in the media is disrespectful to all the clubs involved in these rumours, as well as to their players and staff.”
