Tyron Woodley made his return to the boxing ring for a short notice rematch against social media star Jake Paul.
Pro Boxers React to Jake Paul’s Vicious KO of Woodley
Paul and Woodley faced each other in a highly contested boxing match back in August. Paul narrowly escaped with a split decision victory that night. At one point in the bout, Woodley hurt Paul, but failed to capitalize on the moment and Paul ultimately won the split decision by out-striking his opponent.
Another Devastating Loss
Coming into the fight on a five-fight losing skid, ‘The Chosen One’ was looking for some redemption. Unfortunately, he didn’t find it and extended his losing streak to six after a perfectly delivered right hand from Paul rendered him unconscious.
The fight mostly consisted of hugging and clinching until the knockout shot was delivered in round six. The victory moves Paul to 5-0 in his professional boxing career, though none of those wins are against professional boxers.
His victories include wins over fellow YouTuber Ali Eson Gib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and former Olympic wrestler Ben Askren.
Despite Paul having yet to fight a legitimate professional boxer, many pro boxers reacted to the fight as it played out on Saturday night.

What set that up was a subtle dip to body which took Woodley’s eyes to wrong place then rt. up top to head. Woodley never saw it. #PaulWoodley https://t.co/floGgqW5hE

Originally Paul was scheduled to face Tommy Fury, the younger half-brother of heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury. The younger Fury backed out of the bout due to an injury opening the door for Woodley to step in.
In the post-fight press conference, Paul continued to take aim at mixed martial artists including Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, and Kamaru Usman.
