The sports world loves a true underdog story. As a fan of mixed martial arts, it is one of the greatest feelings to witness a fighter you love capture championship glory, especially through ups and downs, good times and bad. Sometimes when a fighter frees their mind and accepts their role as an underdog, they seem to be at their very best and are a very dangerous opponent for anybody that stands across from them inside the cage. The “nothing to lose” mentality creates such a perfect storm in the fighting world and makes an exciting opportunity for Jillian DeCoursey to overcome her underdog status at Invicta FC 49.
Jillian DeCoursey Looking for her Rocky Moment at Invicta FC 49
Every day, since before I even turned pro, has been dedicated to this. Everyone has a goal in this sport. The @InvictaFights 105 title has been my one and only goal. As always, I’ll be the underdog, but I tend to do good as the underdog.
