Inter Miami has announced it will host a major event Sunday (July 16), called “The Revelation.” Although not mentioning Lionel Messi by name, it is expected the event will be the official presentation of the Argentine superstar at DRV PNK Stadium.
In the promotional image for the event, Inter Miami displayed an “M” in the same style used to announce Messi’s signing.

According to The Athletic journalist Franco Panizo, it will indeed be a mega event, as artists such as Bad Bunny, Shakira, and Maluma are expected to perform at Messi’s official presentation. It is not certain if Inter Miami’s other big signing of the summer — the former Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets — will be presented on the same night.

Major League Soccer (MLS) is negotiating with CONCACAF to have Messi’s presentation broadcast during the pre-game show of the Gold Cup final. The continental tournament’s final will take place this Sunday in Los Angeles. The semifinal games — United States vs. Panama and Jamaica vs. Mexico — will be played on July 12.
The tributes to the superstar do not end there. Additionally, Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has commissioned a giant mural featuring a painting of Messi wearing the Miami jersey in the city.
Lionel Messi and his family arrived in Miami on Tuesday (11) after vacationing in the Caribbean for a few days.
The initial plan was for Messi to make his debut on July 21 against Mexico’s Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup. However, the player has been given additional vacation days, and it is expected that he will take a longer period of time before making his official debut for Miami in a competitive game.
The next MLS game for Inter Miami is scheduled for August 20 against Charlotte.
