Christian Pulisic, the most expensive USMNT player in soccer history, has signed a four-year deal with AC Milan following his transfer from Chelsea. The newcomer is set to earn over $85,000 per week.
On Wednesday, the USMNT captain landed in Italy ahead of making his switch official.
Milan, who finished fourth in Serie A behind Inter Milan, Lazio, and champions Napoli, are set to pay $26 million for the 24-year-old.
Back in 2019, Pulisic joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in a $75 million move – that made him the most expensive player in North American history.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, the player scored 26 goals in 145 appearances.
Now, Pulisic will join a stacked roster, including French World Cup winner Olivier Giroud and Portugal international winger Rafael Leão. He has signed a four-year contract with the Rossoneri and will earn $4.45 million per year – approximately $370,656.66 per month.
Lately, Chelsea have overseen a mass exodus and the American is the latest star to depart from the English team. Pulisic will be joined by two former Blues teammates in Milan in centre-back Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who also made the switch to Milan earlier this summer.
