Man Utd ‘getting encouragement’ from another Serie A player after Andre Onana transfer

Manchester United are poised to make Andre Onana their second signing of the summer transfer window, but there could be another big name player from the Serie A joining the goalkeeper.

Manchester United are being encouraged by Rasmus Hojlund, who wants to join the club this summer. The Red Devils are set to make Andre Onana their second signing of the transfer window. Mason Mount has already been signed, having left Chelsea for United earlier this month.

Manchester United have finally made a breakthrough in trying to sign Onana from Inter Milan. According to GiveMeSport, the Red Devils are “being encouraged” by the fact that Hojlund also wants to join the club as well.

The Atalanta man has impressed for the Serie A side in the past season. In addition, the 20-year-old has been compared to Erling Haaland, who shone last campaign as Manchester City claimed the treble.

Finally, Hojlund has already admitted to being a “big fan” of Manchester United. However, negotiations with Atalanta have proven to be challenging and only time will tell how far United will go to try and sign the Denmark international.
