Liverpool transfer news: Klopp looking to replace Henderson and Fabinho with Italy international

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Marco Verratti to continue the rebuilding of their midfield at Anfield. Liverpool continue to rebuild their midfield at Anfield this summer following the imminent departure of more players, and now a fresh update has emerged from a reliable source on the club’s next transfer target.

According to Kaveh Solhekol on Sky Sports News: “We have also been informed that two Premier League clubs are interested in signing him. We were informed that these clubs were Liverpool and Chelsea. We were informed that those clubs were Liverpool and Chelsea.”

Jurgen Klopp and sporting director Jorg Schmadtke have had to change their strategy for the remainder of the summer transfer window due to the imminent, and unexpected departures of two of their most experienced midfielders, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed yesterday that there was a complete agreement for the Liverpool captain Henderson to join Al-Ettifaq, while the Brazilian teammate was also being transfered to the Saudi Arabian Professional League.
