Trevon Diggs snagged one of the most lucrative deals among NFL cornerbacks. According to reports by NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, he signed a five-year, $97 million contract.

This deal makes him one of the top five-highest paid players at his position. The deal will ensure one of the NFL’s top ballhawks stays in Dallas.

The 24-years-old already has an All-Pro and two Pro Bowl seasons just three years into his NFL career. He has 17 interceptions for the Cowboys, including an NFL-leading 11 in 2021.

With that, the Cowboys secure one of their top defensive playmakers as the team attempts to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995.
