Pedri on rumors of joining PSG: Barcelona midfielder sets record straight after reported bid from French club

Midfielder Pedri is the latest target for Paris Saint Germain. The signing of the athlete was requested directly by Luis Enrique, new coach of PSG, who wants to work again with his former Spanish national team player. The French have already made the first contact with Barcelona.

The information was released by the website “PSG Community” this Friday (28). The portal states that the player is open to the possibility of changing clubs to be led by Luis Enrique. Pedri is considered a great promise of Spanish soccer.
What animates PSG in a possible hiring, is the fact that Barcelona goes through a complicated financial moment. With that, the Spaniards are willing to open talks for the player. The contract break clause is 110 million euros, about 570 million reais.

However, Pedri did not take the idea very well and understands that his moment is at Barcelona. “PSG? It would take a lot to get me out of Barça. The rumors don’t interest me, I want Barça and I’m going to stay here for many more years. My goal is to become captain and play at the new Camp Nou on Spotify.”
