Lionel Messi"s MLS career has already drawn comparisons to American sports stars, like Tom Brady.
After a fantastic comeback from 4-2 down to draw 4-4 to beat FC Dallas – then win the match on penalties, Apple TV"s Taylor Twellman drew a comparison to NFL legend Tom Brady.
HE DID IT AGAIN. 🤯

According to Twellman, Messi"s impact on opposition to make mistakes is similar to that of Tom Brady.
"It"s eerily similar in other sports: when the great ones come in, they force you to do stuff that"s out of your element. You"re uncomfortable doing so", said Apple TV commentator.
"The New England Patriots did this every single time. People would see a ghost when [Bill] Belichick and Brady showed up. In the four games [Messi"s played in], every single time someone [on the opposition] has seen a ghost because Messi is on the other side", he added.
Earlier on Sunday, FC Dallas owner Dan Hunt compared Messi to NBA legend Michael Jordan.
When revealing that he was looking forward to seeing Messi play, Hunt said: "You"re looking at one of the two greatest players of all time in that experience. So yeah, this is a great moment for FC Dallas."
