Goalscorer incoming! Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham to get their striker back after preseason blow

Wrexham’s leading goal scorer Paul Mullin was injured in a game when he smashed into Nathan Bishop of Manchester United.

The goalkeeper, Bishop, who recently moved to Sunderland, was looking to stop a long ball when he accidentally crashed into Paul Mullin.

As a result of this collision, Mullin suffered a punctured lung. Doctors and a stretcher were brought, but he was still able to stand and walk.

Mullin scored 46 goals last season and became the leading goalscorer of Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham. The actor also showed his support for the talented player, Mullin in a tweet.

He said, “Paul Mullin puts his last drop of blood into everything he does. The entire Wrexham AFC community is pulling for a speedy recovery.”

The good news is that Mullin is returning to Wrexham after recovering from a punctured lung. The player recovered from his injury in co-owner Rob McElhenney’s house in Los Angeles. He continued his rehabilitation there and is coming back to his team to further push the team to greater heights.

He spent ‌14 days in the United States and after receiving permission he is flying back to Wales. When he will play now is the next question. However, after looking at the extent of his recovery it will be further decided by the team doctors.

On Saturday, Wrexham will play against AFC Wimbledon. However, Paul Mullin is not expected to be available for their second League Two fixture.
