Cowboys training camp: After being called out for comments on Prescott, McCoy makes an appearance

LeSean McCoy made a brief appearance at the Dallas Cowboys preseason camp, in a perceived response to a media fallout.

McCoy was full of smiles despite trying to defend his calling quarterback Dak Prescott an ‘a***e’ in a much-publicized television segment last season.

The former Eagles running back followed up that comment in a quip on Fox Sports 1 last week questioning the team’s respect levels for Prescott. This after a training clip got out where the QB was doing some ‘trash’ talking on the park.

WFAA’s media man Mike Leslie called McCoy out earlier in the week and was surprised the former All-American even pitched up to camp at all.

The controversial McCoy lived up to his billing and joked his way through a grilling.

‘Shady’ McCoy was on the books of the Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, and Buccaneers and after this latest episode could become a past Cowboy.

Prescott is roundly respected by the entire Dallas locker-room, and it could be good old fashioned high jinx, as intimated by McCoy at their Oxnard, Calif training camp this week.

Regardless, Jerry Jones and company cannot be happy with the off-field nonsense ahead of another play-off run.
