At 6’8” and weighing 195 lbs, the current HS Class: 2025 student, Cooper Flagg, is touted as the best high school player in the world. He plays as a forward at Montverde Academy.

Initially emerging as an elite defensive talent, Cooper Flagg has recently become a major offensive prospect. Defensively, a great shot blocker with strength and speed to guard against any position and a promising rebounder as well, with the ability to be an absolute game-changer on both ends of the floor.

Cooper Flagg is a terrific offensive prospect with a triple-double threat due to his passing upside. He has a great vision for his size and could be a dominant point forward. Flagg is also working on his footwork, post, and dribble moves to generate space.

An advanced shot-maker and strong finisher with a soft touch, he also has a smooth jumper and can space the floor.

In his breakout EYBL campaign, Flagg scored an average of 25.4 points, 13.0 rebounds, 6.9 blocks, and 5.7 assists per game at Peach Jam. He plays alongside his younger sibling, Ace Flagg, a prospective college recruit in his own right.

The prospects of Cooper Flagg look bright if one intends to go by the recent tweets of Jonathan Givony, NBA Draft Analyst, Founder, and co-owner of DraftExpress.com (A private scouting and analytics service utilized by NBA, NCAA, and Int’l teams).

“Great day for Cooper Flagg at Nike Academy. Locking up defensively, making shots from all over, showing his one-on-one scoring ability, and bringing nonstop intensity.”

Flagg plays AAU for Maine United. He is estimated to be Top-Two Pick in the 2025 or 2026 NBA Draft.
