The Netflix documentary on the famous quarterback of the National Football League has piqued the interest of every fan. The documentary “UNTOLD: Johnny Football” takes the viewers across the tumultuous journey the quarterback had in his life.
The documentary directed by Ryan Duffy is streaming on Netflix. It is revealed through the eyes of the star himself.
His parents, sister, former teammates, and friends give their perspectives as well. The 72-minute-long documentary touches on every aspect of Manziel’s life.
Duffy sheds light in a statement to Netflix saying, “This isn’t one of those sports docs on an older player looking back on victory or defeat and reflecting accordingly in a tidy ending. Johnny is still midstream in a lot of this, and I hope this doc offers a compelling and honest look at his present tense processing.”
Cleveland Browns drafted Manziel in the 2014 NFL Draft as the 22nd overall pick. But because of his inconsistency and speculations surrounding him off the field, the Cleveland Browns released the Texas A&M college football star.
He then went on to join the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2018, and after the Cats, he joined Montreal Alouettes the same year. In 2019, Manziel was with Memphis Express and now he is with FCF Zappers.
